AI receptionist that answers your calls and messages and books appointments into your Google Calendar

HumAI is an AI receptionist for small businesses such as clinics, salons, barbers and trades. It answers your customers on the phone and in messages, and books, moves and cancels their appointments. You, the business owner, connect your own Google Calendar once from the HumAI owner dashboard, and every booking appears in it.

What HumAI does

  1. A customer calls or messages your business. HumAI answers straight away, with your services, prices and opening hours.
  2. When the customer wants an appointment, HumAI checks your Google Calendar and offers only times that are free.
  3. It books the appointment into your calendar, and moves or cancels it when the customer asks.
  4. You see every booking in your Google Calendar and in your HumAI owner dashboard.

How HumAI uses your Google Calendar

When you connect Google Calendar, HumAI asks Google for one permission, calendar.events.owned, which covers only the calendars you own. It uses that permission for exactly two things:

  1. It reads the events on the calendars you own, only so it never offers a time that is already taken.
  2. It creates, updates and cancels the appointments the assistant books, so they appear in your calendar.

Nothing else. Your customers never see your events: the assistant only tells them which times are free.

What we do not do

  • We do not use your calendar data for advertising.
  • We do not sell, rent or share your calendar data with anyone.
  • We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not use it to train AI models.

Google’s access tokens are stored encrypted on our server and deleted when you disconnect. We do not keep a copy of your calendar.

Limited Use

HumAI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How to disconnect

Disconnect Google Calendar at any time from your HumAI owner dashboard. We then revoke HumAI’s access at Google and delete the stored tokens. You can also remove HumAI’s access yourself at any time in your Google Account:

Appointments already in your calendar stay there, because they are yours.
